The Harbour Programme has been developed collaboratively by Wiltshire Council in partnership with CAMHS, and led by The Mead Academy Trust.

It has been developed in response to consultations with schools and the Wiltshire Parent Carer Council, about the need to invest in early intervention for children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) issues.

The Programme was developed throughout 2017-18, working to identify children from local schools in order to trial and evaluate the approach.

In year two, 2018-19, we are in a ‘trial phase’, reflecting on initial evaluations to further develop our practices and provision. During this year, we will be working with children from a wider group of schools situated within our immediate locality.

During year three, we plan to welcome referrals from a wider catchment area, identified in partnership with Wiltshire Council. Following the full evaluation of the Programme, we hope to share our successful practice and processes widely.
